Since January 2025, Riwald Recycling Spain has been operating in Madrid on Villaverde yard, a former industrial site. After several years of industrial inactivity, we are writing a new chapter with the development of our metal recycling business.

An ambitious and innovative project

Our project is a true greenfield, marking the creation of an entirely new activity on a reopened industrial site. Previously used as a scrap yard, this land is now home to our recycling operations, representing a major milestone in our expansion.

A booming business – In Madrid, we specialize in:

• Scrap metal trading and processing: buying, selling, and transforming various types of metals, including light, heavy, and new scrap.

• Materials optimization: using dedicated equipment (mobile shears, excavators, gantry detectors, scales, etc.), we cut and compact scrap metal to reduce transport costs and enhance its recovery.

With the transition to electric furnaces, recycling is becoming more essential than ever. At Riwald Recycling Spain, we are fully aligned with this shift, contributing to more responsible and sustainable steel production.

Your Mission:

• Identify market opportunities, manage scrap procurement for our site

• Develop and maintain a network of suppliers

• Negotiate contracts and ensure profitability

• Collaborate closely with operations on-site
